Today is a day to celebrate all of the hard work and skill of rural women!
As stated by the UN, giving women the same opportunities as men in rural and farming communities could increase agricultural production by 2.5 to 4 percent in the poorest areas of the world. On top of that, the population of malnourished people could be reduced by 12 to 17 percent.
