The Atlassian Foundation

International software company Atlassian, founded over a decade ago in Sydney, contributes 1% of annual profits, 1% of employee time, and 1% of company equity to the Atlassian Foundation International. Atlassian serves over 135,000 customers around the world, and as of 2019 Atlassian’s value is US$26.6 billion. They leverage their success to help disadvantaged young people around the world.

By 2030, over half of the world’s young people won’t have the skills they need to thrive in work and life. The world’s poorest children are the most likely to be left behind. So The Atlassian Foundation focuses on the United Nation’s fourth Global Goal to ensure quality education for all.

The Atlassian Foundation is helping to educate 10 million disadvantaged youth within 10 years – preparing them for the workforce of the future. Atlassian is teaming up with the best partners and discovering the world’s most scalable education solutions to break the poverty cycle.

To quote a well-known African proverb, “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together”. The Atlassian Foundation is building a diverse team across the world to impact the lives of disadvantaged young people.

They are currently expanding their team and looking for co-funders, and identifying opportunities to support partners financially and with their skills. If you’re interested in collaboration, get in touch today!
