St John Ambulance (National)
St John is a self-funded charitable organisation dedicated to helping people in sickness, distress, suffering or danger. St John is Australia’s leading provider of first aid training and event health services.
St John volunteers provide event health services at a wide range of community events and activities. Volunteers meet fortnightly to refine their training and share experience.
Whether you want to give back to the community or have an interest in healthcare, there are many reasons why people volunteer. Whatever your reason, volunteering with St John will be a rewarding experience. To become a St John volunteer, you are required to hold a current Apply First Aid certificate (which can be done through St John in most areas), be able to volunteer on average 1.5 hours/week and be willing to learn and undertake regular training and recertification.
