Red Ribbon Day
Did you know that there were 833 new HIV diagnoses in Australia in 2018? Founded in 1988, World AIDS Day (December 1) is an opportunity to raise awareness about HIV, show solidarity with people living with HIV, and remember those we have lost to an AIDS-related illness.
HIV can affect anyone. HIV does not discriminate, people do. You can help change this! Even the simplest gestures – such as wearing a red ribbon pin – can go a long way to showing that you care, and help to break down judgemental attitudes.
Head to their website for more information about how you can be involved!
