Playgroup NT

Established in 1980, The Playgroup Association of the Northern Territory Inc (Playgroup NT) is a not-for-profit, membership organisation dedicated to supporting families and strengthening local communities through play.

Their small permanent staffing in Darwin and Alice Springs provides support and resources to assist with the establishment, co-ordination, administration and promotion of playgroups.

They are a peak body representing volunteer-led community playgroups and organisational playgroups across the NT. Each year more than 400 families engage with Playgroup NT as members with even more attending playgroups each week.

If you are looking to make new friends and want your children to socialize with other children, Playgroup NT can give you information about existing playgroups in the NT or help you start a playgroup of your own.
