Pirate Day is an annual event which funds scientific studies for better treatments and ultimately a cure for brain cancer.
It was established by Nathan, the father of Conor, a young boy with brain cancer. Nathan was told that the only way to find a cure was through research, and that costs lots of money. Nathan realised that the only way he could help was to start a campaign to get the Government’s attention so they would increase medical research funding.
