Pirate Day is an annual event which funds scientific studies for better treatments and ultimately a cure for brain cancer.
It was established by Nathan, the father of Conor, a young boy with brain cancer. Nathan was told that the only way to find a cure was through research, and that costs lots of money. Nathan realised that the only way he could help was to start a campaign to get the Government’s attention so they would increase medical research funding.
The first Pirate Day day was such an overwhelming success that it’s spread across the country. Head to their website today to find out how you can be involved!
