Maggie’s Rescue

Maggie’s Rescue is a not-for-profit, No Kill animal rescue group based in Marrickville.

They are a co-operative of carers, who are all committed to the mission of saving and re-homing abandoned animals, initially into a warm and loving foster home until they are able to find their perfect adoptive home.

Fostering an animal is something you can do from home! It’s a great option for people who live in remote areas, or have limited mobility (though please consider the exercise needs of the animal).

Maggie’s Rescue are constantly looking for reliable animal-lovers who have the time and enthusiasm to help rescue animals.

If you can’t foster an animal, you can be a Casual that helps around 5 hours a month at events and markets, or, if you have more time to help, you can be an Essential volunteer that provides regular help (at least 5 hours a week) to Maggies’ marketing and fundraising. Get in touch today!
