Katherine to Darwin Challenge is a fundraiser for Total Recreation, a hub for people with a disability to get fit, connect with others, and have a great time! They have been empowering their members for more than twenty five years. Their programs cover fitness, travel, sport, and dance, and are all tailored to the different needs and abilities of their members.
Members say that Total Recreation is “One big family that do everything together”, and “Total Rec is a big deal in Darwin. It gets people involved. Total Rec is like family to me”.
The challenge involves cycling along the quiter roads off the Stuart Highway, where riders are able to take in the beautiful landscape of the Top End. If you enjoy the great outdoors, wonderful scenery, as well as helping others then this is the event for you, so sign up today!
