International Volunteer Managers Day was created in 1999 to recognise the key roles that Volunteer Managers play for volunteers around the world.
This year for 2022, the theme is “Many Backgrounds – One Profession – Stronger Together”, highlighting the diverse range of people who participate in volunteering and the incredible work they do.
Volunteer Managers utilise their skills and knowledge to meet community needs by harnessing the skills of others in an organised manor. So this year it’s time to celebrate the key roles that Volunteer Managers play for orchestrating safe and effective volunteering.
