Dorset SES

The Tasmanian SES assists Tasmanian emergency services in search and rescue operations, and play an important support role during major bushfires.

They are the main adviser and facilitator for emergency management activities such as emergency management planning, risk management and the management of Tasmania’s Natural Disaster Resilience Program and Emergency Volunteer Fund.

Their work helps to make Tasmanian communities more resilient to natural disasters and to shape the future of the Tasmanian emergency management sector as a whole.

Volunteering for the SES can be one of the most rewarding commitments you can make and you really can make a real difference!

As an SES volunteer you work as part of a team of like-minded people. The experiences you share while training and responding to emergencies can begin life-long friendships.

If this sounds like something you want to get involved with, please get in touch with them via their contact details or through the online application form on their website!
