Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Around 65 Australians are diagnosed with some form of breast or a gynaecological cancer every day.

The goal of this month is to raise awareness around breast cancer and raise funds for support services, prevention programs and crucial cancer research. These services provide life changing support for many people and their families by helping them to take care of themselves and get the treatment that they need.

Throughout the years, survival rates have been steadily increasing and people are living 5 plus years past their diagnosis’s. There is still so much work to be done, but this is a great example of how donations towards these causes and the increased education around it is helping us to improve treatment and prevent certain cases.
