Bordertown SES

The South Australian State Emergency Service (SES) is a volunteer-based organisation that responds to a wide range of emergencies and rescues across the state 24-hours a day, seven days a week, 365-days a year. Primarily responsible for responding to extreme weather events including storms, floods and heatwaves.

SES volunteer roles include: – Operational roles (Road crash rescue, marine rescue, swiftwater rescue, vertical rescue, confined space rescue…) – Operational support roles (Communications, community engagement, administration…) All SES volunteers receive free training by experienced and qualified trainers.

SES volunteer roles are available across all of metropolitan Adelaide and regional South Australia. If you live in South Australia, chances are you’ll find your local SES Unit near you.
