BlazeAid

BlazeAid was set up my farmers whose property was damaged in the 2009 Black Saturday fires – a group of volunteers took a week to rebuild the fences which would otherwise have taken months. Inspired and grateful, they set up BlazeAid as a way to help rural Aussies affected by natural disasters.

Since 2009, thousands of long- and short-term BlazeAid volunteers have helped to replace damaged fencing, remove fallen trees, whatever is needed! And importantly, volunteers help to restore the spirits of fire survivors who lost family and friends, stock, homes, and more.

BlazeAid sets up volunteer camps all over the country – head to their website to find where you can help out!
