World Ranger Day

Rangers in National Parks around the world play an important role in protecting the land and animals in our most treasured places. In some countries, they put their lives on the line to do this work. We can support rangers by supporting our National Parks.

World Ranger Day (WRD) is a day to remember the Rangers who’ve been killed or injured in the line of duty, and to celebrate the protective work they do for our natural resources and cultural heritage, all around the world.

You can visit their website to read more about the work that Rangers do, and learn how you can stand with your local rangers to support your community’s environment. Be sure to also check out their social media for any updates about WRD 2023!

For fundraising purposes and other event planning, please download the “WRD Toolkit” for a variety of important resources. You can also contact them via email or phone to ask any further questions , or to reach out for help with event planning.
