World Braille Day

For those who are visually impaired, braille and audio instructions are essential to their independence and safety.

People with disabilities are less likely to access health care, education, employment and community events. Communities have to work together to ensure that public spaces function for everyone and meets the needs of us all.

If you want to get involved in this cause you can notify your local council when you notice important public spaces are inaccessible or unsafe for those who are blind or sight impaired.

By speaking up and advocating for those with disabilities, we can create inclusive and accessible environments for everyone.

Check them out and get involved!
