Wirringa Baiya

The words Wirringa Baiya in traditional language mean “Women Speak”. This organisation aims to help Aboriginal women and children who may miss out on legal services, especially if they are victims of abuse and violence.

Wirringa Baiya provides free, confidential legal information, advice and casework to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women, youth and children on a range of family and civil law matters. They also engage in court support, outreach programs, legal educational services, and law reform activities.

Wirringa Baiya currently receives limited government funding and accepts any form of donation. Get involved today!
