The RangeCare Op Shop

RangeCare is a local not-for-profit service provider delivering in-home, social and respite support to the elderly and people with a disability. RangeCare can also support people under going medical treatment or experiencing a major life event.Opening an op shop was an important step for their community-based, not-for-profit organisation which has experienced significant changes in government funding since 2015.

The funds raised through op shop sales are directed back to providing quality care and support to people along the Blackall Range and surrounding areas so that they can continue to live independently in their homes longer.

They are always on the look out for people who are interested in working on the shop floor, preparing donations for display (washing, ironing, etc.), and helping sort through the donations.

If you'd like to donate a large item, please call ahead to check that they can receive what you have to give. Op shops spend millions of dollars a year on rubbish removal so please don't give broken, dirty, or poor quality items.
