Whether you want to give back to the community or have an interest in healthcare, there are many reasons why people volunteer. Whatever your reason, volunteering with St John will be a rewarding experience. Their volunteers provide first aid and health services at a wide range of community events and activities. St John volunteers meet once a week to refine their training and share experiences. With over 40 first aid volunteer divisions in QLD, you won’t have to travel too far to find a division. To become a St John volunteer, you are required to hold a current Apply First Aid certificate (which can be done through St John in most areas), be able to volunteer on average 1.5 hours/week and be willing to learn and undertake regular training and recertification.
