Second Chances – Sturt

At Second Chances, there are many ways to help out! Volunteering opportunities include visiting in-prison, Second Chances Op Shop, Second Chances Furniture Warehouse, and in the office. You can donate or propose that your community group make a partnership with them.

If you have excess, quality, pre-loved furniture or white-goods, you can donate them to the Second Chances Furniture Warehouse.

You can also participate in one of their programs such as mentoring camps that aim to teach personal values, and initiatives to help the children of prisoners around Christmas, birthdays and through daily life.

If you'd like to donate a large item, please call ahead to check that they can receive what you have to give. Op shops spend millions of dollars a year on rubbish removal so please don't give broken, dirty, or poor quality items.
