The Redfern Foundation helps community groups run by and for Indigenous people in Redfern, NSW.
The foundation gives financial and other forms of support to organisations which are threatened by a lack of funding, but have the potential for growth. These groups include Mudgin-Gal, meaning ‘Women’s Place’, which supports women, girls and their young families; Babana Mens’ Group, which runs activities for men’s health across family relationships, anti-violence, and anti-drug/alcohol campaigns; and The Tribal Warrior Association which helps Aboriginal people gain employment in the maritime industries.
Because The Redfern Foundation have no offices and no paid staff, funding from donors goes directly to the organisations they support.
You can choose the way you or your organisation would most like to help and you can see the difference your donation makes. Get in touch today to find out more!
