Did you know that Crusted Scabies effects 7 in 10 Indigenous children within their first year of life? Crusted Scabies is a painful and disfiguring disease which often leave the sufferer with a social stigma, similar to leprosy sufferers, and can often result in death. It is also completely preventable.

One Disease aims to eliminate the condition through community education, and improving detection, diagnosis and treatment. The elimination of Crusted Scabies will also contribute to Closing the Gap in Indigenous health.

To get involved, you can join their Healthy Skin Mob who collaborate with local communities and health providers to provide support, treatment and education to those suffering from Crusted Scabies.
