National Centre of Indigenous Excellence

In 2006, the Indigenous Land and Sea Corporation, with the support of the local community, purchased land to develop a National Indigenous Development Centre. The land is now home to conference, accommodation and office spaces, a purpose-built gym, and an aquatics and sports centre.

NCIE’s programs and services are designed to create long-term improvements in wellbeing. Their Job Ready program has helped Indigenous people find employment and training, the Talking About Tobacco Use program is a smoking awareness and education program, and Indigenous Digital Excellence is a tech skills program that works with Elders and young people.

By donating to the NCIE, you or your organisation directly invests in the futures of generations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians. To support their work, or take part in one of their programs, visit their website today!
