About this site: Built in the mid 1930s, Jones’ Store is an old building constructed of corrugated iron, bamboo and earth. It is one of the oldest surviving structures in the former stock route junction town. The store sold provisions to droving plants that moved cattle over the Murranji, Barkly and North-South stock routes. Barkly and North-South stock routes.
