Gunawirra

In Aboriginal mythology Gunawirra means the invisible seed of all creation. Their vision is an Australia which deeply respects Aboriginal culture and history.

Gunawirra runs a number of programs to empower young Aboriginal parents with children aged 0 to 5 years to intervene early in their children’s lives, breaking the life cycle of trauma caused by loss of country, community, culture and family. Children are taught about personal hygiene, basic healthcare, and simple nutrition, good self-esteem and emotional health.
