Good Sammy Op Shop South Lake
Good Sammy is the retail division of Good Samaritan Industries, a Western Australian Uniting Church organisation set up over 50 years ago to provide meaningful work for local people with a disability, thereby helping them achieve greater independence.
Unlike other op-shops which have a welfare focus, their priority is to create employment opportunities for people with a disability. They also help out in critical circumstances such as major disasters and significant crises through their Uniting Church involvement. If you are seeking welfare support, they are happy to put you in contact with other organisations who specialise in these services.
If you’re interested in donating to, shopping at, or volunteering in one of their stores, get in touch today!
If you'd like to donate a large item, please call ahead to check that they can receive what you have to give. Op shops spend millions of dollars a year on rubbish removal so please don't give broken, dirty, or poor quality items.
