Friends of Sherbrooke Forest

Friends of Sherbrooke Forest is a group of approximately 50 volunteers working with Parks Victoria to restore Sherbrooke Forest to its original condition.

They work together to selectively and gently remove weeds from the forest – plants which should not be there and which (if left unchecked) crowd out native flora. Restoration is based on weed eradication backed up by surveys of indigenous flora and fauna.
