Cancer Council

Cancer never rests, and for that reason, neither do the Cancer Council. And tomorrow, with your help, they will start again. The Cancer Council are here for all Australians affected by cancer.

Cancer Council is the only Australian Charity to work across every area of cancer, from research to prevention and support. They help people from the point of diagnosis through to treatment and survivorship.

The support of volunteers is integral to the efforts of state and territory Cancer Councils to reduce the impact of cancer on our communities.

Across Australia, more than 20,000 volunteers play vital roles in cancer prevention, fundraising, administration and providing information and support for people affected by cancer.

Volunteering is a positive way to support your local Cancer Council and people affected by cancer. Enthusiasm and a desire to help are the only qualifications you need.
