Blackheath Rhododendron Festival

Rhodo Festival, as it’s affectionately known, is an annual celebration held in Blackheath to coincide with the peak flowering season of Blackheath’s signature rhododendrons.

Rhodo Day is peak party time with entertainment, rides and stalls. The pubs host wood chopping, coal shovelling and roof bolting competitions. And hundreds line Wentworth Street to see the grand parade.
