Barossa Bushgardens Natural Resource Centre

The Barossa Bushgardens is a community initiative on 7.5ha that showcases and supplies regional native flora and promotes sustainable Natural Resource use.

The Barossa Bushgardens is a Natural Resource Centre situated adjacent to the North Para River on 7 hectares next to Nuriootpa. The site includes a Botanic Garden, Seed Orchard, Native Plant Nursery, and Community Centre. Showcased are 100 of the Barossa’s 400 native plant species.

Largely cared for by volunteers, the Bushgardens are funded by the Barossa Council and the Adelaide and Mount Lofty Natural Resource Management Board with the generous support of local sponsors.
