Australian Air League

The Australian Air League is a youth organisation for children from 8-years that encourages an interest in aviation as a career or hobby. They aim to develop a spirit of aviation, ingenuity and resourcefulness as well as promote good citizenship & teamwork. Cadets take part in many sport and community activities. They are entirely self-funded and staffed by volunteers, so why not get involved?

Are you a dedicated adult with a passion for aviation? Air League Officers are volunteers from the community, sometimes former or current cadets themselves, or parents keenly interested in developing the potential of young Australians.

They are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to open squadrons in new areas, especially those with skills and relevant experience in planning, organising, leading and teaching young people. You need to be able to allocate one night a week for Squadron parade nights, and to attend weekend activities such as camps and competition days that occur during the year.

If this sounds like something you are interested in, contact the Australian Air League in your local community to learn more!
