Arid Lands Environment Centre
The Arid Lands Environment Centre (ALEC) is central Australia’s peak environmental organisation that has been advocating for the protection of nature and ecologically sustainable development in the arid lands since 1980.
They’re an independent not-for-profit running a 123 km2 wildlife reserve in South Australia’s arid north. They pioneer conservation science to help threatened species thrive across the Australian outback.
