Adult Learning Australia (ALA) is the largest national peak body for adult and community education. They are a not-for-profit organisation active in all states and territories. ALA is primarily funded by membership dues, subscriptions and project revenues.
For over sixty years ALA has been making sure that adults have the skills and knowledge required to engage in meaningful work, and to participate fully in a multi-cultural and rapidly changing society.
