International Best Friends Day

This day is for celebrating those closest to us! Our friends make us who we are, and shape the people we become.

On this day, hug them a little tighter and remind them how much they mean to you.

After all – hugging is great for you! It releases a chemical in your brain called oxytocin, which helps you to relax my calming your nervous system. In the long run this lowers your blood pressure and a reduced heart rate. 

If they’re a furry friend give them an extra treat or two!
