World Water Day

How many times, and in how many ways, have you used water today? Through political avenues or personal means, there are so many ways we can celebrate and protect this precious resource.

The focus for World Water Day 2023 is “Accelerating Change”. It’s essential we all work towards accelerating change to solve the water and sanitation crisis being experienced worldwide. As individuals, families, schools, businesses and communities, we can all make a difference by addressing the way we use water and practising ethical water management.

This year, the commitments made by communities will be added to the Water Action Agenda, which is to be launched at the UN 2023 Water Conference. This is the first event of its kind in nearly 50 years and a once-in-a-generation chance for our global community to unite around the protection of water. The UN 2023 Water Conference will be held on the 22-24 March at the UN Headquarters in New York. Be sure to stay tuned to see the incredible advancements and commitments for this precious resource!
