The ten per cent of people worldwide who don’t have easy access to clean water do not have an equal chance of health and success. WaterAid enables the world’s poorest people to gain access to safe water.
This basic human right underpins health, education and livelihoods and forms the first, essential step in overcoming poverty. WaterAid also campaigns locally and internationally to ensure that water and sanitation’s vital role in reducing poverty is recognised.
