Stroke Foundation

The Stroke Foundation is a national charity that partners with the community to prevent, treat and beat stroke. They stand alongside stroke survivors and their families, healthcare professionals and researchers to build community awareness and foster new thinking and innovative treatments. The Stroke Foundation support survivors on their journey to live the best possible life after stroke.

The Stroke Foundation work to raise funds from the community, corporate sector and government to continue their mission.

Volunteers at the Stroke Foundation make a unique and important contribution by providing different points of view and bringing experience and expertise that enriches the organisation. Volunteers are vital to the work of the Stroke Foundation and enable them to deliver programs, run activities and raise awareness about stroke across Australia.

Stroke Foundation volunteers include a wide variety of people from all walks of life. The majority of volunteering roles are currently for people 18 years and over.
