The Friends of Eltham West Drain was formed in 2002 with a group of people who live near this typically degenerated waterway.
The group works from Blair Reserve and Weidlich Road downstream to Meruka Park.
Their activities are held (usually) on the last Sunday of February-November, as well as propagating plants at Edendale Farm.
