Court Network – Morwell

Court Network’s service is important in accessing justice. They support vulnerable or disadvantaged court users who may be attending court for the first time and be unfamiliar with court rules and processes. Court users may be self-representing, and feel frightened in a daunting environment.

Last year, Court Network assisted more than 180,000 people across Victoria and Queensland who were required to come to court, including victims of crime, vulnerable witnesses, or family members of homicide victims. Their service is delivered by over 450 highly trained volunteers, called ‘Networkers’, on a non-judgemental and confidential basis.

They are seeking volunteers who can commit to one day a week to support vulnerable people from diverse backgrounds. Volunteers will receive professional training. If you want to work with a committed team of volunteers based in our law courts, providing a vital service for the community, get in touch today!
