Australian Pollinator Week

All of the world, insect and animal pollinators need our help.

The Wild Pollinator Count project invites you to count wild pollinator insects in your local environment and help to build the Australian database on wild pollinator activity. You can participate anywhere in Australia by watching a flowering plant for ten minutes and reporting the insects you observe.

You can get involved from home! Help out the bees and create a bee hotel for your yard or balcony. You can also buy or create bird baths and bird feeders to help your local birds.
